About This Cute Capybara With A Surprised Expression Coloring Page

Meet cute capybara with a surprised expression — a free printable coloring page ready for crayons, markers, or colored pencils. Capybaras are the world's largest rodents — and the internet's favorite

Ideas for Coloring

• Warm brown or tan fur with a slightly darker muzzle looks just right
• Test your colors on a scrap of paper before touching the page
• Press lightly first — you can always go darker, but you cannot go lighter
• Try limiting yourself to 3 or 4 colors for a pulled-together look

Craft Ideas With Your Finished Page

• Cut out the capybara and add drawn friends around it for a habitat scene
• Use the finished page as cover art for a homemade notebook
• Laminate the finished page to make a wipe-clean placemat

Printing Tips

For best results, print on white cardstock (65 lb or heavier) if using markers, or regular printer paper for colored pencils. Set your printer to 'Fit to Page' for US Letter size, or 100% scale for A4. The image is formatted at 768x768 pixels, which prints cleanly at 8x8 inches.

Skill level: Beginner friendly — bold outlines and big open spaces, great for ages 3-7
